Limited SBs - get in quick!
We've had a restock of the love-em-or-hate-em Marge Simpson-esque Dunks and a very limited drop of Shoegoo Dunks (equally opinion-dividing). Available in store only, but be sharpish as they're bound to go rapidly..

Gravis IV x The Hundreds
Collabs don't come any better than Gravis IV and LA's stellar clothing company The Hundreds. Focus is one of the privileged few to get our hands on their range of luggage, featuring the sturdy roller bag, a technically-tough backpack, Terminal wallet for all your travel needs and a 3-set of bags for your pencils and that. Peep the photies below for a sneak peak, and watch out for the range online over the weekend.

Have a Butchers

Good title i know. Diego Bucchieri has just launched his own photography website, it's still under construction but there are some skate shots in there that are a bit different. Don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself.

Glasgow is on the move again.....

After almost 10 months in Queen Street our Glasgow store is on the move again. Our short walk away, our new store at 220 Argyle Street (under Central Bridge) will open at 10am on Wednesday 8th October. We've got a few special product releases planned for the opening week and we'll also be hosting a little opening party on Thursday 16th October. If you fancy coming along, just drop us an email at glasgow@focuspocus.co.uk and we'll hook you up with details.
Hope to see you at the new store and of course expect the same quality product as always.
Linkinator X
Added a few links to the blog sidebar, so check them out if you're not familiar with them:
YouWillSoon: skate blog from Canada, nice if you're often baffled by the popularity of the likes of Ryan Sheckler and the X Games, and have a fondness for the 90s side of skateboarding.
Boil The Ocean: On a similar note to YouWillSoon but a bit less cynical and a bit more 'deep'. Take from that what you will.
Police Informer: Another one for the 90s fans, Police Informer consists mostly of Mr. Police Informer himself posting scans of old ads, interviews and photos from the likes of 101, Menace, Girl, Billy Valdez, Jason Dill... The list goes on, click through and check it out.

Gino Iannucci Epicly Later'd Episode 5
Episode 5 of the Gino Iannucci edition of Patrick O'Dell's Epicly Later'd show is now up on VBS. If you haven't been following them since the show returned to the site two weeks ago, this installment brings us half way through the 10 promised episodes of Gino goodness, and goes over his move from 101 to Chocolate, and one of the reasons for his apparent lack of footage in Mouse.
Bigger version available over at VBS.tv, plus all the earlier episodes. Go check it out if you're bored, skiving, or just plain don't know who Gino is. In fact, watch all the episodes, especially the John Cardiel ones.

P.S. If anyone knows the whereabouts of our Glasgow A-frame, which was left outside (d'oh!) and stolen (gah!) on Wednesday night, do let us know. We're operating an amnesty policy, so if it appears out of nowhere no questions will be asked, guv'nor.

The Man Who Cycled The World
If you didn't catch this programme last week on BBC1, I'd highly recommend watching it on the BBC iPlayer.
Mark Beaumont from Scotland broke the solo round the world cycling record earlier this year and what an achievement it was. 18,000 miles in 194 days, completely unassisted. Quite astounding.
Watch The Man Who Cycled The World.
August Nikes.
Bit later than expected is the arrival of August's Nike SB's. Some tasty morsels this month including the all new P-Rod 2 High and the magnificent Unfutura Dunk Hi's.

redvision
Was linked to this short on Vimeo the other day, a clip of some skating at that French spot that was quite prominent in Menikmati. What makes this a bit different is the fact that the footage was shot on a Red One camera, which shoots in ultra high definition at 120 frames per second.
Also, it seems that Elwood shortened some of the clips on the team page I linked to in the last post, but luckily someone was savvy enough to rip Kenny Anderson's full clip and fire it up on yoochoob:

Elwood
Elwood have just done a massive update on their site and have footage up from all the pro riders, great stuff too considering it's just throwaway web clip stuff. Kenny Anderson in particular has a sick clip, and John Rattray has a daft trick at Paisley Square, not one I've ever thought of myself anyway.
Check it out at Elwood's website.
On a side note, I hadn't seen this until today:

Geoff Rowlet is insane. Frontside flip.
