Blueprint Signing, Demo & Premiere in Glasgow, Sunday 11th April!

Blueprint's 'Make Friends With The Colour Blue' UK tour touches down in Glasgow this Sunday, and there are a few events to get yourself along to throughout the day.

At 12:00 the team will be in the Glasgow store for a signing, so come along if you want that tickles your fancy. We've got a big delivery of Blueprint hardware coming in especially for the occasion too.

At 14:00 the team will make an appearance at Kelvingrove skatepark for a demo/skate and there'll be some goodies being given out at some point too.

At 19:45 there will be a premiere of the Make Friends With The Colour Blue at Macsorleys Bar, 42 Jamaica Street (just round from the Glasgow shop). You'd be best to arrive around 19:30 to avoid missing any of the video, and to get a decent round of drinks in before the showing. Unfortunately due to licensing constraints, this will be be an over 18s event, and anyone coming along will be at the mercy of Macsorleys staff, so that means no turning up minging drunk before the thing's even started.

Make Friends With The Colour Blue is scheduled to be released on DVD at the end of April, watch this space for further info.

Focus at Edinburgh Skatepark.

Mid April sees us opening our third store just yards from the brand new Edinburgh Skatepark. We're going back to basics selling hardware, helmets and pads, a small selection of shoes and t's and that is basically it. We're hoping people will see it as a place to hang out and it's also a way of saying thanks to all the people who have supported us over the years.

Sunday the 11th of April is the date for the Scottish leg of the Make Friends With The Colour Blue tour by our friends at Blueprint.

12noon for a shop visit at the Glasgow store, then on to Kelvingrove at 2pm for some skateboarding.

We're also working out a venue for a screening of the new video that night, which will no doubt be followed by some excessive drinking. Details to follow.....

Nike SB Fluff Book Competition

Eighteen months in the making, 117 Nike SB European riders, and one photographer (Marcel Veldman). 'Fluff' is finally with us and it was well worth the wait!
This book is epic, it's definitely the best skate photo book i've seen, dare i say the best skate book ever made? I was surprised and chuffed to find that it was 90% legit skate photos, and seeing that the book is 610 pages, that's a lot of skate photos. I also can't get over the size and weight of this thing, you could seriously pan a window in with it.


So here's the good news, we have 2 copies up for grabs. I love a good competition so guess what? This is what's happening, two seperate photography comps.

The first comp is a skateboard photography one. Send me your best skate photo, digital, film, polaroid, it doesn't matter, anything goes.
1st place is a copy of the book and some Nike SB goodies
2nd place gets some Nike SB goodies and a Focus t-shirt.

The second is a general photography comp. It can be anything, portrait, lifestyle, candid, whatever. It doesn't even have to be skate related, it just has to be good.
