Indoor skatepark in Edinburgh...
How's this for a start to 2008? Yes, you read correctly. Sometime this month Edinburgh will have an indoor skatepark. Located in Ocean Terminal shopping centre and designed/built by Dave Sowerby this almost seems to good to be true. Not sure exactly when it opens but more details will surface in the near future. Woo hoo!!!

I wonder what effect this is gonna have on the likelyhood of some decent concrete in the capital any time soon?
looks pretty awesome...
I'd hope the skatepark will HELP get an outdoor concrete facility built as all thats stood in the way of the council park so far is negative public opinion. Having the indoor park in Ocean Terminal where anyone can watch people skate and ride can only help promote the sport and improve public opinion....
