Gingervitis
There's an interesting article up on the Guardian website about gingerism (discrimination against gingers) being the last acceptable prejudice. I've certainly witnessed some discrimination against gingers over the years, so thought I'd ask our resident Ginger Mr. Tait how many of the derogatory names in the article he'd been subject to. Here are the results:
Ginge
Ginger Nut
Ginger Minger
Carrot Top
Duracell
Ginger Pubes
Graham gets a whopping score of 6! He has refused to comment on whether or not he'd been called my personal favourite, 'copper sacks'.
Anyhoo, enough of this nonsense, here's the article:

Team Pain
I saw a link to the Team Pain website on Crailtap, and it turns out they're a skate park construction company (and the team behind this year's Tampa Am course) who also specialise in some pretty snazzy stand alone skate obstacles too. Check these bad boys out:
Hopefully Glasgow City Council can get them on the case for a plaza outside of St Enoch Centre.... My arse!

Seems like we're blogging more about the recent US elections than anything at the moment, but this is suitably ridiculous to warrant posting. Comprising of over 220 images from a Canon G10, this link on Gigapan uses Flash technology to give an ultra detailed look at a scene from Tuesday's presidential inauguration.

Aviemore needs a skatepark.
Anyone who is anyone will know of Aviemore's rich skateboarding heritage and the word Chevvy's will bring a smile or look of fear to a lot of peoples faces. Sadly though Aviemore has been skateless since the destruction of this legendary spot and it just hasn't been the same since.
But fear not, some good people have organised themselves to campaign for a proper facility in Aviemore and you can help out by clicking the link below and adding your name to the petition.
