I'd forgotten how much of a ball ache shop fitting can be and the new Edinburgh store is definitely no exception. Dust, cut fingers, long hours, crap takeaway food, too much coffee but finally things are starting to take shape. We're on target for an opening date of Wednesday 24th June and to be honest I can't wait. Come and visit when we're open at 270 Canongate, The Royal Mile, Edinburgh, EH8 8AA.

Big Mark Burrows was in the house dazzling us with his plastering skills on the shoe wall. Note the original 1950's fishmonger tiles. Sweet.
