This is the nearest Edinburgh's ever been to a proper skatepark!
i have just added my supportive comments to the council planning,i hope every skater does this now,we need a skate park in edinburgh,i have been waiting for this for many years now,and really dont want to wait any longer so cmon everybody-get your say in now!!!
here is acopy of the comments i sent the planning dept.i really hope this proposal is passed, the skate park has to go somewhere and within inverleith park is a perfect site for it,the objectors dont seem to realise its not their own private front garden, the park is for recreation for all of edinburghs residents,if the skatepark is built within it,this wont stop them enjoying the park,to be honest most of them wont realise its there,i think they are really over-reacting and most of them have been misinformed, the save the inverleith park campaign is way off the mark,i honestly think that the public(given the correct information)would be in favour of the skatepark proposals,i hope you(the planning dept)realise this, edinburgh needs this type of facility and inverleith park is suitable for it.
