We've got a good tradition of collabs on t-shirts at Focus, and our latest is a real peach. First out the traps for a change, is the last Nike SB's of 2008. Top to bottom we have the gum soled P-Rod 2 in Midnight Fog. (£64.95) The super subtle Dunk Mid in Anthracite Grey suede. Fully Chevrolet'd

Many times in the past we've seen big companies rip off of skits from skate videos (like Nike's football take on Yeah Right's pass-the-board segment), and today I came upon this article on Creativity Online. It seems someone at Chevrolet has been watching a little too much Fully Flared. The ad is a total rip off of the intro right down to the music!

It's much better when adverts imitate skateboarding in a more upfront and creative manner:

Dunk SB 'Mosquito'

The new Nike SB Dunk Low 'Mosquito' are now available in the Edinburgh store, and will be available in the Glasgow store at the beginning of next week. The shoe was designed by the bods over at US store Cal Surf, and the upper is matched by mosquito detailing on the insole of the shoe.

Glasgow shop on the move again.......

A mere 10 months after our move to Queen Street, we found ourselves in need of a new store as our landlord decided to go into the sandwich game. Anyway after a lot of late nights, some glass smashing, ladder falling and a lot of lunches from Greggs, we finally opened the doors last week.

Massive, massive thanks go out out to Al for his joinery skills, Weedgie banter and not least the perspex window display.

Ok, here's the deal. This Saturday in our new Glasgow store we will be offering all our customers a chance to pick up a pair of these sought after kicks. Edinburgh Skate park!

Edinburgh Skatepark Needs your Help!

You may or may not know the length of time that Edinburgh skateboarders
have been campaigning to get a concrete skatepark built but has been a long
struggle surpassing at least a decade which has involved several people and
several hundred hours of effort.

A new application is currently going through the council planning
department for the skatepark to get built in the city's Saughton Park. This
application available for viewing and for people to add their comments.

This is where we are asking for your support so we can finally get this
park built.
You can offer support by accessing this link.

This will open the planning application. In the top left of this window,
there is a button labelled Submit Comments, this will open a form where you
can add your details, lend your support and add any comments to support the
application.
